Who is Electrodiva?

Tory MooreElectrodiva, LLC is the name of a web design studio in New York City.  The company is mainly the work of one person: Tory Moore, a designer and information architect working in digital media since 1993. Tory became an independent contractor officially in 2003 after 10 years of working as an art director, creative director, and managing director for various companies through the years. She works with a variety of programmers, usability experts, marketing specialists, designers, and content creators to create web sites, software, and mobile applications. Electrodiva‘s clients range from big pharmaceutical networks to niche academic sites. Tory brings a unique blend of rich experience, talent, leadership, attention to detail, and passion to every client‘s project that is typically what you‘d expect from a much larger company.

Services

Tory works primarily on web sites, but she has also worked on mobile apps, software, Flash-based advertising and educational games, and information graphics for print. Electrodiva‘s service offerings include:

History

Tory began her career in educational CD-ROM and video development back in the early days of the 1990‘s with Harper Collins publishers. Being in “new media” meant having to do everything on a project from idea to launch, often inventing processes and techniques on your way. Tory was an early pioneer in information architecture for interactive products, as well as being one of the first generation of web designers.

She has gone on to director level positions with Addison Wesley Longman and Jasper Design before opening Electrodiva, LLC. Along the way Tory has worked on hundreds of successful projects, received awards, has given presentations on web design processes and techniques, and has written about numerous topics.
